Three Kinds of Beauty Consultants in Department Stores
As a shopaholic, I have a great deal of experience of shopping in department stores. I’ve found that all beauty consultants are classified into three typical types—the snobs, the slackers and the super-salespersons.
My friend Candice, who is a renowned fashionista, convinced me to visit the store where she bought an amazing new lipstick from a charming consultant named Casey. When I arrived at the store on Saturday morning, I met a salesperson who was striking in appearance, yet with too much makeup—her name tag read Casey. I was shocked when Casey ignored me. Suddenly, I realized that I was not dressed in designer label clothes like Candice! Casey was a classic example of the snobs.
The next time I visited the store was on a Tuesday afternoon, and I was sure to dress my best. However, I was depressed that I was ignored again by the plainly dressed salesperson. As we talked, she constantly checked her cell phone. I suddenly realized why I had again become invisible! I discovered the second type of beauty consultant—the slackers.
I met the third type of beauty consultants during a big sale. They were dressed in uniforms and eagerly catching the attention of passersby. Selling products meant everything to the third type of beauty consultants. They were the super-salespersons.
All beauty consultants were classified into three typical types, and people must have had an experience of meeting the three typical types of beauty consultants when shopping in department stores.
